Welcome to SoonSpot. By downloading the SoonSpot app or using soonspot.com (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Use. Please read them carefully.

Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Service, you confirm that you are at least 13 years old and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

Description of the Service

SoonSpot is a community-powered app that tracks new business openings in Southern New Hampshire. We aggregate public data from planning board filings, permit applications, and community-submitted tips to provide early awareness of new restaurants, shops, and businesses opening in your area.

User Submissions

SoonSpot allows you to submit tips, updates, and photos about businesses in your community. By submitting content, you:

• Grant SoonSpot a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute your submission within the Service
• Represent that your submission is accurate to the best of your knowledge
• Agree not to submit content that is false, defamatory, harassing, or violates any third party's rights
• Understand that submissions are reviewed and may be edited, rejected, or removed at our discretion

Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Post false, misleading, or defamatory information about any business or person
• Scrape, copy, or redistribute our data without written permission
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers connected to the Service
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
• Use the Service for any commercial purpose without our consent
• Violate any applicable local, state, or federal law

Accuracy of Information

SoonSpot aggregates information from public sources and community submissions. While we strive for accuracy, we cannot guarantee that all information is current, complete, or error-free. Business opening dates, statuses, and details may change. Always verify important information directly with the business.

Push Notifications

When you follow a spot and opt into notifications, you consent to receive push notifications when that spot's status changes. You may withdraw consent at any time by adjusting your device notification settings or unfollowing spots within the app.

Intellectual Property

The SoonSpot name, logo, app design, and original content are owned by SoonSpot and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Public data sourced from government permit filings and planning board records is not owned by SoonSpot.

Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. SOONSPOT DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT ANY INFORMATION IS ACCURATE OR COMPLETE.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SOONSPOT SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, for any reason, without notice. You may stop using the Service at any time by deleting the app and ceasing use of the website.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page when changes are made.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Hampshire, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
